Digital Photographic Services - Minor Restoration

Because photographs do not last forever, the requirement for the latest digital imaging software to restore damage has increased.

Minor restoration has two levels.

  1. Level 1 - Discoloration, small rips etc in peripheral areas
  2. Level 2 - Large rips etc in peripheral areas, staining.

Restoration Levels

 

Level 1

The first division of minor restoration, this service will optimise the colour, sharpness and contrast of the image as well as removing blemishes, pin holes or discolouration. This service is not suitable for rips or cracks.

 

Level 2

The second level of restoration available can rebuild some lost detail in peripheral areas such as corners or backgrounds. One or two rips can be repaired as long as they are on flat areas of colour. The image will be optimised for colour, sharpness and contrast
