Unfortunately cherished photographs cannot last forever, general wear and tear, accidental damage and severe trauma can mean treasured memories are lost.

By using the latest digital imaging software, Niall Edwards Photography can restore most damage caused in the passage of time. Inevitably not all images can be restored to there former beauty, but Niall Edwards Photography can ensure all projects are assessed and undertaken on their own merits.

Major restoration occurs at two levels:

• Level 3
• Level 4

Both levels are suitable for restoration - a major amount of damage requires the use of level four, the highest level of restoration.

Restoration Levels

 

Level 3

The first level of major restoration, this service will rebuild areas of detail in the surroundings of the subject. Level 3 enables the removal of cracks or rips as well as optimising the colours, sharpness and overall composition of the image.

 

Level 4

The highest level of restoration. This service is capable of replacing the majority of lost detail in areas of complexity such as faces or hands. Includes total optimisation of the image and removal of water marks or stains.
