Digital Photographic Services - Ordering

The digital services offered by Niall Edwards Photography aim to enhance, restore or optimise images. The digital effects can be applied to images provided by you or to those taken for you by us. Restoration and optimisation obviously only apply to images provided by you. Hopefully the information provided here should answer some of your questions about the service:

Ordering

To order a digital service you will need to use the Digital Order Form. Send this form with your image(s) insuring you give as much detail as possible in your instructions.

If you require a digital effect simply fill this information in on the print order form.

  1. The form and a £5.00 deposit must be sent with the images to the address shown on the form.
  2. The deposit will cover an assessment of your print and return postage to you of the print should you decide not to go ahead with the Digital Photographic Service.
  3. We will assess your image and instructions to ensure that we can complete the restoration you require.

Confirmation

Once we receive your order form and image we will create an order specification and send this to you via e-mail or post. This will detail the exact costs you will be charged and details of the output you require. We may contact you to suggest a different service from the one you have specified.

  1. If you are happy to proceed with the order as detailed on your order specification you must return the confirmation slip with the balance payment.
  2. We will complete the work required and send you the output plus return your original image and receipt.
  3. Should you decide not to continue with the service we will return to you your original image and a receipt for the deposit.

Questions

Q. What do I get after the service has been applied?
A. Dependant upon what you have entered on the order form, we will send you either prints or a CD-Rom. We can discuss this with you at any time.

Q. Why do I have to pay a deposit?
A. So we can ensure your original images arrive back safely, should you not want to continue the order, we ask for a deposit to cover return postage. It also pays for the image to be assessed prior to the service being applied.

Q. How should I send my images to you?
A. We do not take responsibility for images until they are in our possession. We recommend you send items by recorded or special delivery to cover against loss or damage.

Q. If I don't like the final image, can I return it for a refund?
A. The images are custom made to your specifications so cannot be returned. If you are dissatisfied for any reason contact us and we will aim to resolve the problem.
